OF THE WHATEVER-TIME-I-REMEMBER-TO-UPDATE

So my good friend, Kaitlin lent me this book in early December but it has taken me quite awhile to read it but I love it. It's called Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and I highly recommend it. It's a novel, as the cover says, and it's about a Nigerian woman who immigrates to the U.S. for college. It tells the story of what she thinks is going to be a sort of "American dream" but quickly realizes it's not all it cracks up to be. The novel parallels Ifemelu (the main character) and her former boyfriend's experiences and it is told in a sort of flashback way, it's really hard to put down once you start reading it!
