two-ish plus weeks of "soft rom" tuesday

Hello everyone! Yes, remember when I came back to school in July and I had to ROM? Well we're sort of doing that again but, fear not, I am living with my normal roommate and I can leave my room at any time.

Last weekend was our last weekend that we were all allowed off of the yard until Thanksgiving. This is to try and eliminate our potential contact with others and hopefully lessen our numbers so that everyone can have the chance to leave the yard on Wednesday night and Thursday and eat a Thanksgiving dinner that didn't start off frozen. Honestly, some people took the news harder than others and yeah, it's not fun to sit around for 2 and a half weeks but we're all in it together which makes it a little better. Also, it's been beautiful weather so you have to look on the bright side.

We celebrated Fiona's 21st over the weekend! On Friday we went to dinner at Soul, I'd never been before. Honestly, I'm sure I'd go back but I don't think I'd recommend it again. The food was fine but the wait was long. Their outdoor seating area is very cute though. On Saturday morning, Madeline, Sally and I went on a run along the B & A trail, it was beautiful! Then we got breakfast and ran some errands. Afterwards, I had my teammates over and we had a taco night. On Sunday I slept in and then I ran some more errands and then I went on a bike ride! The weather really has been very nice. It's in the 60s again today, I can't complain about that. Oh yeah, on Sunday night, Madeline and I didn't have to be back at school until 8 PM so we had a nice "the last supper" at Maggiano's. It was really yummy, I had the leftovers for dinner last night.

Tomorrow is Madeline's birthday! We're going to have a nice delivered breakfast and hangout and then we have a team meeting at 1:00 PM. I know I'm starting to do the thing where all I do is give a very detailed summary of my day... We also don't have school tomorrow which is fun.

I don't have a whole lot going on this week. Madeline and I ran 6 miles yesterday and I think we're running 5 today and Sally and Fiona will be joining us. We always run together but they both had valid reasons why they weren't running yesterday so we allowed it (that's a joke).

I got some new Nespresso flavors and I've been using my milk frother more! I've had it here for a long time but I used the frother for the first time last week. I don't really know what it does because I always use almond milk so it doesn't get foamy it just kind of heats it up and stirs it around and makes me feel fancy. I was so excited that I made Katherine a coffee and I've invited Madeline, Fi, and Sally but I guess they're not as excited as I am!

I'm really just counting down the days until I can go home ~15 and then after class on the 25th I can go home until 8:00 AM on the 27th (Friday). It's better than nothing and I'm fortunate to be able to go to my actual house. Then we have another two weeks of "soft rom" and then Christmas break!! I'm really excited for that. I'll be even more excited if we have some semblance of a normal sailing season come the spring. Last night at our team book club we talked about how we miss van rides and I didn't realize how much I actually miss them. They're truly a team bonding experience.

Okay I think that's all for now! Hope everyone has a good week!
