trying-to-bake-again tuesday

I think I should just turn this into a cooking/baking blog. I haven't made anything else yet but I'm feeling inspired. I feel like I have to redeem myself. The only problem is, everything I make at his grandparents just sort of sits here unless I eat it. I mean I have no problem eating it, I just know that I shouldn't. Hopefully they turn out well and I'll take some to Soren's mom because she also has a sweet tooth. I assume I could always make snickerdoodles again but I'm just really avoiding that because they're so messy and kind of took a really long time.

I'd love to make more banana bread but everyone seems to eat the bananas... I found a recipe that uses yogurt which I assume would make the bread really moist. This time I'll be adding chocolate chips because who doesn't love chocolate chips in their banana bread.

Our power came on around 7:00 PM last night and then it went out around 9:00 AM this morning. I don't know why, but I assume it should be fully back on today. I guess they're still working on this line or something... It's okay, I only have one class today, history! I don't love history at all, I'm trying to motivate myself. I feel bad because this professor is so nice and enthusiastic, this just isn't my cup of tea.

Maybe I'll make something easy like rice crispy treats, I love those I just haven't had them in awhile. I could make them with a fun cereal or something for a little more excitement. I wish there was someone else who also loved sweets, that would make this easier.

Once my class ends I have no idea what else I'll do today. Maybe start some research for an essay or two. Maybe I'll sit by the front door and wait for some of my packages to arrive... It's nice and sunny today, most of the snow is melted and it's not supposed to snow again (thank God). I still don't trust the weather people here, they said the snow before last was the "last one." Maybe I'll try and get my nails off, I've been putting it off but they're really bothering me. I'll keep everyone updated, I know you're super interested. Okay well this is all for now!
