throwback thursday

I'm really upset that I didn't blog yesterday because on Tuesday night my family groupchat was having a little pun competition with hair related puns and my dad said that my blog post should've been "wigged-out wednesday." I was so excited about that title that I put it in my notes to use but I didn't blog :( In my defense I had a lot of French homework and I made dinner last night so I was a little busy. So today's blog title comes from this morning's conversation with my friend Nick. We grew up together and one summer our favorite song was "Tonight Tonight" by Hot Chelle Rae and we'd sing it all the time. We still listen to it whenever we're together and he said he heard it on the radio a few days ago and I said "aw tbt!" Then I realized, today was in fact a Thursday and it was perfect timing. Okay, that was a long intro.
Yesterday I ate protein pancakes for breakfast and I had class. Then I made lunch and did some homework before I went back to the lake to go on a run. I also did an arm workout before I ran. I ran for 30 minutes which ended up at a little over 3.6 miles. I showered and then I went to the grocery store to get stuff for dinner. I made breakfast fried rice again because Soren really likes it. His mom ate it this time and she said it was really good too. I also made boxed brownies because they're everyone's favorite. So to all of those wondering, we did not eat ham. Thank goodness. We narrowly avoided that one.
This morning I got up and had my final French 201 test this morning. I had yogurt for breakfast and I did school at the lake. After my class was over I came into town. Soren and I made lunch and I figured out what we're having for dinner. I found an easy recipe for Tuscan chicken with penne pasta. It uses rotisserie chicken, that's what makes it easy. It's supposed to only take 20 minutes, we'll see if it does. After I gathered the ingredients for it I did a 30 minute Zumba workout on Youtube. I was under the impression that there would be more dancing than there was. It's okay, it was my cardio. Today's pretty rainy, it hasn't stopped long enough for me to go on a walk. After that terrible video I did a 15 min ab workout and a 20 min leg workout. Tomorrow I'll go on another run and do more abs and arms. I'll also do my 30 minute yoga for the week.
After my workout was done I baked some oreo chocolate chip cookies. I've had this recipe saved for awhile and I got oreos yesterday. They were fairly easy to make, I used the semisweet chocolate chips and I cut everything in half because I didn't want to make 48 cookies. They're tasty! They're super chewy and delicious. I was worried that by halving everything I did something wrong but they turned out awesome.
I guess I'll let you know how my penne turns out tomorrow! Oh wait, I couldn't find penne so I got rotini, I think it'll be okay.
