Today has been pretty chill, both in temperate and in things I've done today. It was really cold last night and I woke up this morning not wanting to leave the warmth of my covers. However, I told myself I'd go on a run so eventually I convinced myself to get out of bed and put on workout clothes. For reference, I'd been running in shorts and a tank top because it's been around 90 degrees but today I wore leggings and a long-sleeve because it was in the 50s and super windy, it does feel nice in the sun though. I did a 5 min warm-up walk, 5 min jog, 4 x 90-60-30s, 5 min jog and then a 10 min walk to cool down. A "90-60-30" is where you sprint for 90 sec, walk/jog for 30 sec, sprint for 60 sec, walk/jog for 60 sec, sprint for 30 sec and walk/jog for 30 sec. They do kind of suck but they also aren't terrible and you don't need a track to do them. I just did them on the road I normally run on, there are a few hills but they aren't terrible. Once my hip has fully recovered I'll probably do a workout like this twice a week.

Yesterday was fairly relaxed too. We woke up and came to Soren's mom's house for a little, I offered to help get everything together for Dechlan's grad party but they wouldn't take my help because I made all of the desserts. My only task was to make some bacon for the broccoli slaw... His little party was nice. Soren's cousin, Shane, is really into smoking meat and he made briscuit and pulled pork and it was so good. I also just love all of the sides, Soren's mom made buffalo chicken dip and quinoa salad, his gram made mac and cheese, baked beans and broccoli slaw. I didn't even need the meat I could've just eaten all of the sides. Everyone said my desserts were really good, the brownies and cookies were pretty much all gone, thankfully. Barbara, Shane's wife, really appreciated the keto mini cheesecakes I made and she also told me they were delicious. I haven't tried one because I don't really like the way fake sweeteners taste but they look cute.

Today after I showered and went on my run I had a cup of coffee and then Soren, Baden and I came in to his mom's house. Soren and I both had some homework to do and his gaming computer is here. I made eggs, bacon and tater tots for breakfast. Soren made his into an egg sandwich. After we were done eating and done our homework I made chocolate chip banana bread coffee cake. I know it sounds like a lot but it's so tasty. It's not too sweet either because you're supposed to use dark chocolate chips. Also everyone agreed that the chocolate chip banana bread is better than the blueberry one so this is like a happy medium, I tried something new and sort of stuck to the old. I followed this recipe: https://passthesushi.com/chocolate-chip-banana-bread-coffee-cake/ but left out the walnuts on top because Soren's mom is allergic and I don't think nuts are necessary in baked goods.

I really couldn't wait and I had a piece after I thought it was done cooling. I would recommend trying this.

I don't know what we're having for dinner, Soren's grandparents are cooking. I think we're having chicken and the leftover sides. Or I hope that's what we're having.

I have school tomorrow so I'll wake up and come into town. I'll most likely do an ab workout and then go on a walk. Soren's mom and I are planning on making stuffed peppers for dinner tomorrow. I'll keep everyone updated on how that goes. I think that's all for now. I hope everyone had a good weekend!
