I've seen that phrase on a t-shirt "sat-ur-daze." I don't really know what it means but I'm taking it to mean the kind of daze that you can feel like you were in when your whole Saturday flies by. Today seemed really long but really quick at the same time.
I woke up around 9:30 and then I laid on my back. After that I made my bed, throw pillows and all, and got ready for the day. I finally zipped up my suitcase and put it into the car. I got all of the stuff out of my room so that I could turn on the Roomba. I helped make the twin beds in Soren's room and then I headed to his mom's house. Soren met me here, he had to finish cleaning up his room. After that we had waffles at like 1:00 PM and then we went back to his grandparents' house to grab his gaming computer and bring it to his mom's house. We helped his mom pack up and then we went to camp.
It was probably 5:00 PM by the time by the time we were there. I put my stuff in my cabin and unpacked a little. We all just hungout, Soren and I watched The Good Doctor and then we had burgers for dinner. I don't know why I'm so tired, now that my day is typed out it doesn't seem like I did a whole lot. Trust me when I say it was long.
I'm hoping tomorrow will be more relaxed, probably not but maybe. Soren's mom and I are planning out dinner and dessert for a couple of nights this upcoming week. I think I'll make "Chipotle" again and we're going to try a recipe that I saw in a cooking magazine. It's for sheet pan fajitas. Basically you just put everything in the oven, it seems easy. I'm going to make s'mores cookies, here's the link: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/smores-chocolate-chip-cookies/. It seems like you just make the chocolate chip cookie and put the s'mores stuff on top. We'll probably make real s'mores at some point too.
I still haven't heard anything from my summer school professor, I'm assuming I'll here from her tomorrow. Hopefully my day doesn't go too long, I'd like to be able to kayak or paddle board some days. The good news is we don't start before 9:30 AM so I can go on runs in the morning which I really like. I think I'll go on one tomorrow. The camp road is pretty long and flat with few cars so it's a good place to run. I'm still not going very far and I'm only running every other day but it's nice that I don't have to drive anywhere to run right now. I'll probably still go to the track when I want to do intervals.
I'm tired so I think I'm going to end this post here. I hope everyone has a good Memorial Day tomorrow and enjoys their socially distanced barbecues.
