my mom suggested "fix the truck friday"

Soren and I actually didn't do anything to fix the truck, one of his granddad's mechanics figured it out, thankfully. It wasn't our fault, a wire came off of something which is why it wouldn't start so he reconnected the wire and added more oil and we should be good. We weren't out of gas by the way.

According to Soren's gram it is supposed to start snowing tonight and not stop until tomorrow afternoon. If you ask me, that's really rude of the weather and I am just choosing to say "no" every time someone says it might snow. It's a no from me. It should be illegal to snow this late in the year!! It was 60 yesterday it cannot snow tonight. Absolutely not.

I didn't do a whole lot today. I journaled when I woke up, I intended on reading some more of my book but I journaled for a long time and then Soren came downstairs and we ate breakfast. We watched an episode of "Criminal Minds" while we ate.

Afterwards we filled the wood rack, then I changed and worked out. Afterwards I did an ab workout that I made, I did not have a ton of time because I needed to shower before my team, end of the season Google meet call. It was nice to see everyone, it was a sort of farewell for the firsties, it was sentimental, I'm going to miss them and I hope I get to see them before they all go their separate ways.

Soren and I ate our leftover pizza for dinner and watched some more "Criminal Minds." So, I'm the one with the sweet tooth, he eat sweets when he's in season, he's a lightweight rower, but he doesn't ever crave them like I do. However, when I said I wanted ice cream and asked if he'd eat it, he made it seem like he didn't really care about it. Until one night last week when he said, "can we have ice cream?" We didn't have any... he was really sad. I stocked up when we went to the store on Monday and I think that we've had a little almost every night now. I never eat this much dairy and there's a little moment of regret afterwards when my stomach really hurts. However, it's momentary and I enjoy the ice cream a lot and I continue to put myself through this slight torture... I guess he's an ice cream guy but he doesn't really care about cake or cookies. Neither one of us loves candy, he likes KitKats but he doesn't eat them when he's not in season. Oh, he loves the Little Debbie oatmeal cream pies but we can't buy those because he eats the whole box in like two days. He doesn't see that as an issue but I just don't think it's good for his health.

I don't know what this weekend looks like for us. Maybe I'll make egg sandwiches tomorrow morning... I'd like to run but if it snows then we'll see. I don't mind running post-snow but I don't want to run while it's snowing, I just got used to the warmth. We'll probably make waffles with his mom on Sunday.

My grades are all in, I did okay. Not as well as I would've liked on Physics but it's all good. I also got my summer school classes today. That's what we're all doing this summer instead of cool trainings and internships. I'm taking French 201 starting May 26th and French 202 sometime in mid-June. I'm a French minor so this will help me get ahead. I think I'll be taking a second class but I'm not sure. It's okay, I'm not too worried about taking it online. I still don't know what else this summer has in store for me but I'm sure we'll get more news soon.
