Sorry that it's been awhile! Last weekend was a 3-day so on Monday I had to scramble to get homework and other tasks done that I'd been pushing off. I know that's totally on me but the week seemed extra busy and I just couldn't find much time to blog. My 3-day weekend was really good though! I spent the majority of the time at one of my teammate's houses. He's my teammate now but I've known him and his family since we were probably 9 or 10 years old. We also had to go to the football game last weekend but at least it wasn't too cold and we won!
Oh! As I think everyone knows who reads this blog, we saw Jimmy Buffett at sailing practice two weeks ago! That was super cool. He played us a song and we sailed around for probably 15 or 20 minutes. I'd never seen him in person before so I really enjoyed it. It definitely helped boost the mood of our entire team and now the whole school thinks we're really cool. (I don't know if that's true I'm just assuming it.)
I'll be honest I don't have a ton of time to write this blog, I just thought I'd update everyone because I haven't in awhile. I have my PCA tomorrow at 7:00 PM. It's a 40 (I think) multiple choice question test about professional knowledge that we should know. We have to get a 70 or 75 to pass. I've been studying, this is my brain break and then I'll get right back to it. It was supposed to be taken last spring but because we were all at home they postponed the test until now. I've heard it's fairly straight forward but I'm still super worried about it and I want to do well the first time so I don't have to take it again. For those of you wondering, I think that PCA stands for Professional Competency Assessment. That's just a shot in the dark though.
I had sailing over the weekend, we ended up 2nd which we're pretty happy about. It was our last regatta of the season but we still have practice for 2ish more weeks. It was beautiful weather all weekend and I'm really happy about that!
I also had my team (mostly just my class and Madeline) over for dinner and perhaps I'm just speaking for myself but we had a ton of fun. It was just us hanging out and we played some games and ate lots of food. I'm glad that I live close and that my parents are willing to let us come over!
I'm sure more happened in these past couple of weeks but I've really got to go study. Hope everyone has a good week!
