Wow, I feel like this has already been an incredibly long week but it's only Tuesday! Perhaps it's because I did a lot yesterday... I don't really know.

Well, it's the moment you've all been waiting for... I'm done swim forever!!! I took my test yesterday and now I never have to slide that horrid navy blue one piece on again. I passed the class and I'm all done. The test was not easy but that was expected. I also got stuck behind some kid who was doing back stroke so I feel like his kicking was creating a current that pushed me backwards. I also got my hair pulled and like shoved out of the way, swim class is ruthless. Now I'm done so we'll never have to hear about it again! Although, I'm not sure I'll love martial arts either. We have lots of time before then.

Friday night I went to dinner with Madeline, Fiona and Sally. We had a really fun time. It was really exciting to put on real clothes!! It was nice to just hangout and chat. I'm sure we'll do it again soon.

This past weekend I had a J22 regatta. It's a 4 person boat. We went out on Saturday and there was no wind so we were in by like 2:30ish. Then I hung out with my teammates and some of their friends and we watched the Navy vs. Air Force game, we really didn't play well. Also my friend's mom made us all dinner which was really nice of her.

Luckily on Sunday there was pretty good wind so we did end up sailing. We ended up third overall. It was really tricky conditions. We're not unhappy with our place but we wish we could've done better. We have one more regatta this season (I think) and it's not this weekend but next, we'll practice some more before.

Sunday evening I went home for ~1.5 hours and had a quick dinner. It's always nice to have a home cooked meal and hangout with my parents and Bungee. I also made some more of those oatmeal pumpkin cookies but this time I made them in a brownie pan and cut them into squares. I also added a little more agave and honey and sprinkled some salt flakes on top, I think they're much tastier. I didn't really let them cool before I shoved them into a baggy so they're a little crumbly but they still taste nice.

I also took my PRT last week, PRT stands for Physical Readiness Test. It's not super hard yet every time I find myself super worried about it. Even though, as Madeline says, "it's the only test we know all the answers too." I ended up doing really well. To get a 100% you have to do 45 cadence push-ups for girls, a 4:20 plank (guys and girls) and under a 9:35 mile and a half. I got a 100% for the first time! I've always been in the high 90% range but I worked really hard to get better at running and it paid off. At the end of the run though my coach told me I could've run faster because I didn't throw up. I think he was sort of kidding... I'll try to go faster next time.

Yesterday I ordered my class ring! I think they take a long time to get here but that was pretty exciting. I haven't picked out my stone yet and I don't really know what I'm going to get but I guess I'll let you guys know once I do.

After my ring I ran a 10K. Fiona and Madeline ran most of it with me but I finished the last ~1.5 by myself. I felt really good, I probably could've kept going but I had to pick up my laundry and get ready for our team book club. We're still reading The Boys in the Boat, I'd still recommend it. I came up with the discussion questions and led the talk and I think it went well! I'm excited to see who'll lead the next discussion.

This week is fairly busy in terms of meetings after school and stuff, I don't really know why. After Wednesday night it should calm down. I don't know what will happen this weekend given that it's a three-day. Everyone wants an overnight but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I know I'll have a good weekend regardless of if we do or not. I really want to go to an apple orchard or a pumpkin patch. I also want to get my nails done again, my friend told me I should try a new place so I'll let you know how that goes.

The weather is getting cooler which I really like. I love running when it's this temperature outside. It's also not humid so my hair appreciates it. I think that's all, hope everyone has a good week!
