Hi! It's Thursday! I know that weekends don't really matter anymore but I'm still thankful that tomorrow's Friday. This week has been good, I feel like it has gone by quickly. I am a little under the weather, I felt really crappy yesterday but today has been better.
I have a class "first period" every day this week which means I "have" to wake up at 8:15. I never thought I'd complain about getting up that late. But I guess quarantine changes people. Soren's able to sleep in until 11:00 everyday so he's pretty lucky. Not that I could sleep in until 11:00 if I tried.
I've been really craving french toast so today I made some. It's such an easy breakfast food that's more exciting than just toast and eggs. I've always made it with french bread or challah bread but these are tough times and all we had was Dave's Killer Bread. Don't get me wrong, this bread is delicious as a sandwich or toast but it's a little weird for french toast because of all of the seeds. Nonetheless, I got my french toast and I'm happy.

I also decided to try out a new workout because I didn't feel like making up my own circuit and I'm not really feeling up to running, I should feel better tomorrow. Claire told me that she'd been doing Popsugar Fitness videos from Youtube. So, I gave them a try. She told me she liked the dance based ones and I too, like a good dance based workout. However, I am a terrible dancer. I cannot dance. I have tried. I have no rhythm and I can't move my hips. I made sure that my laptop camera was off when I started the video because I am so embarrassed. I did the "Flat-Belly and Tight-Booty Cardio Dance Workout" and it was hard. The instructor moved fast! It was fun, I don't think I'll be sore but it was a fun change of pace. Then I did the "10-Minute Summer Sweat and Sculpted Abs Workout." Hey, for a free video on Youtube, I'd recommend.
I'm planning on taking it easy this weekend, I might try out a mini breakfast quiche recipe that is basically just baking eggs and cheese in a muffin tin but it makes enough for leftovers and an easy breakfast. I hope to make waffles again on Saturday. As much as I don't want to/don't want to accept it I should probably start writing some papers this weekend/today...
