I know, I didn't post yesterday, I'm feeling the end of semester stress in full swing. How? You might ask, you're at home, ample time! Okay, yes, but it's weird because I like having my room at school, when I'm there it's quiet and I know when I'm at my desk there it means I have to work. It's a great place for me to do work. Partially because Katherine is an excellent roommate and partially because we're rarely both there so it's quiet.
I am halfway done my 8-page paper, it's not an easy one. I am much better at writing about things that I want to write about. I have yet to start the 5-page paper... it's okay that'll only take one day.
I slept better last night, I'm still coughing. I'll be fine during the day and then come 6:00 PM and my cough comes back. I put a humidifier in my room and I believe that helped.
For those of you wondering, I have not tried to detox my armpits yet. I don't have the correct mask and I haven't ordered it yet. I'm trying to restrict my online shopping... it's becoming a problem. I, unlike most people, have been an avid online shopper since I went to Navy. I'm saying it's not just a quarantine thing.
I acquired all of the ingredients to make falafel. I wasn't going to make it today because I need to maximize my time in terms of school work and house work (I need to clean my bathroom and vacuum.) However, Friday and Saturday, Soren and I normally make our own dinner or go get pizza or something. So, if I feel up to it, I might make the falafel for dinner. I also got the stuff to make a Greek salad.
We had a team meeting via Google hangouts yesterday to vote for team captain. It was nice to see everyone but still a little sad because we don't know if we'll even have a season next semester. We don't know if we'll be going back to school! Also it's not up to us, it's up to ICSA and MAISA and I don't know, NAAA people. Sailing is a very socially distanced sport if I might add. I know I hate doing this but I am supposed to be at King's Point this weekend, I think for a fleet race regatta. While that isn't my favorite place to sail, I have never wanted to be there more. I really hope that they figure out how to get this Corona virus under control and we can go back to some sort of normal by the fall. I miss my classmates and my roommate and my teammates so so much.
Well I don't want to get all sappy and I don't have much else to say but I'll include a funny picture of Bungee because I haven't put a picture with a post in awhile. My dad took this picture a few days ago, I think it isn't Bungee's best angle so maybe you'll get a laugh too!
