another monday!

Hello! I had a pretty busy last week... It was only 4 days but it felt so long. I find that a lot, that sometimes 4 day weeks feel longer than 5 days.

Soren came to visit this past weekend which was really nice and I'm super happy that he's so flexible. That also means that we had liberty!! I got to leave the yard which was fun. I didn't have a ton of time because we were sailing but some was better than none. We just hungout and had dinner. Sailing actually went okay, I wasn't looking forward to it, if I'm being honest, because I had to sail Lasers (the single handed boats that I don't like sailing). I surprised myself and did okay! My dad and Soren watched all day! Also, here's a cute pic that one of my teammates took of me:

Oh and every thing I said about swimming... today's class was terrible. We had to circle swim for 15 minutes which means you can't push off the wall, I thought I was dying. My friend Katie, who has class with me, put it very well; "How can someone say they like swimming more than running? At least while I'm running I can get oxygen whenever I want. When I'm swimming it's maybe 30% of the time...." I've never related to something more, we're both not very strong swimmers.

I don't know if I'll have liberty again this weekend or not. I'm hoping that we will but we'll see. I don't have sailing this weekend so I'll have a lot of free time... Soren says that he'll come down if I have liberty again which is awesome!

Next week is 6 weeks which means that I'll have some tests and projects due in the majority of my classes. I don't really have too many standardized classes so I don't think I'll have too many tests. I know that I will have a cyber test which means that I should probably start studying sooner rather than later...

To be completely honest I started this blog this morning and just got back to it now so I kind of forgot what I was going to say... Oh well, it happens! Have a good week.
